RIVER TO RIVER: FROM ARNO TO THE TIBER

L’Isola del Cinema, in collaboration with River To River Florence Indian Film Festival promotes two Indian evenings promoted by the Indian Embassy in Italy.

Celebrating its 19th edition, River To River, founded by Selvaggia Velo, aims at promoting indian cinema presenting long feature films, shorts, documentaries, special focus and panels with actors and directors.

During the years, the festival has been hosted in several cities around the Country, and this year, for the second year in a row, it arrives in Rome, on the Tiber Island from July 12th to July 13th, presenting a taste of its last edition. This year programme includes the bollywoodian romcom Manmarziyaan, characterised by the sounds and colours of punjabi music and starring the divo Abhishek Bachchan and the intriguing film 3 Storeys, with its intricate plot and unexpected ending, set in a typical chawl in Mumbai.
